Keynote Speaker Dr. Kevin Quashie (Brown University)

We are delighted to be hosting Dr. Kevin Quashie as our keynote speaker for the 2020 CCC Symposium. Kevin Quashie teaches black cultural and literary studies and is a professor in the department of English at Brown University. He is the author or editor of three books, most recently The Sovereignty of Quiet: Beyond Resistance in Black Culture (2012). He is currently writing a book on black aliveness, which will also be the subject of his presentation.
